Salary

  • Competitive salaries that recognize education, experience and role
  • Regional allowance for Fort McMurray-based Administrative, Professional & Technical (APT) employees
  • Premiums paid to shift workers (12 hrs/day) and for certain skills
  • Option for overtime to be taken as time-in-lieu in many circumstances

Annual Incentive Plan

  • All regular employees are eligible
  • Target award based on employee pay level
  • Actual awards based on both corporate performance and individual performance
  • Paid annually, pro-rated for first year of employment

Long-Term Incentive Plan

  • Most APT employees eligible; participation is determined annually
  • Payout based on corporate performance and crude oil price, three years after grant is awarded

Pension

  • Basic Retirement Plan – fully company-paid defined benefit pension plan
  • Bridge – an additional company-paid defined benefit pension payable from age 55 to age 65
  • Supplementary Retirement Plan – defined contribution pension plan

Thrift Savings Plan

  • Company-matched cash savings plan
  • Employees can withdraw both company and personal contributions at any time
