Syncrude Award and Scholarships

Since starting operations in 1978, Syncrude has provided ongoing financial support towards the educational endeavors of students throughout the province. Our goal is to continue building on this success and ensure even greater accessibility to financial resources in the future.

As a result, we are introducing a new approach to scholarship funding designed to better support the fiscal needs of students on their journey towards rewarding careers.

Through major endowments at several Alberta education institutions, students will now be able to access scholarships focused on a variety of fields, including engineering, nursing, education and environmental sciences.
