Gateway Hill: Syncrude has built a network of interpretive trails through reclaimed land.
Gateway Hill: This 104-hectare parcel of land is among Syncrude's most mature reclamation areas. To date, Syncrude has reclaimed more than 4,500 hectares at its operation north of Fort McMurray
Gateway Hill: The public is welcome to see land reclamation themselves on the 4.5-km interpretative trail through Gateway Hill. It's called Matcheetawin Trail, which is Cree for beginning place.
